Play to Measure Leaflet

I was contacted through Upwork to design an A4 leaflet for Play to Measure. The brief was very open. I looked at the website to pick up a general feel for the brand, however they were looking for something different to send out to schools to highlight the different products they can make, as well as showcase their craftsmanship.

Images and copy was supplied but other than that I had free rein to make of it what I wanted.

My first thought was to set the information in a forest, as their overriding feel was natural spaces turned into fun and educational areas. This phrase from their copy was on my mind:

Turn an inaccessible space into a magical play oasis

I wanted leaves to be a design feature, so in photoshop I created a brush to then create the background dappled leaf areas to use as a backdrop for the information.

I created two options for the design and then there was one round of amends to switch out some photos and add a few more in and then I set up the documents as digital files to be used on their website and email and also a print PDF to organise high quality leaflets for posting to schools.

I loved working on this project, using different aspects of creating my own brush in photoshop, cutting out images to create dynamic elements, editing images and then designing the layout.
